Your Astrological Light Beacon here with information as well as insights on the astrological influences of election day, November 5, 2024. With the Sun in Scorpio. (powerful passionate water sign) along with the Moon, Mercury and Venus all in Sagittarius and Mars in Leo; (all passionate fire signs) the energy will bring a sense of excitement for whatever and whoever you will vote for. As we know, this election year will be somewhat unprecedented and for the planets of the day to be in the signs mentioned, it’s as if we are being asked to be more attentive to what will be the most just and equitable way forward. I am not here to tell you who to vote for. I am here to ask you to be civil and respectful.

Although I am concerned about who we elect as the ultimate leader of our nation, I am as concerned about how each of us will become better LEADERS in our own personal lives. The astrological transits beginning their journey in 2025, which interestingly equals the number 9, (endings before new beginnings) will portend powerful change and movement affecting every part of this planet. Some of these transits have never occurred in our lifetime. 

As we put together the interrelationship of the five major planets responsible for benefits, challenges, lessons, changes and transformation, moving forward, they are all converging to awaken us to the realization that we must become more personally responsible for being the best CEO of all that we are every day. I mean this is serious. Taking inventory of you from top to bottom. Knowing who you are with radical acceptance of all that is.

We have heard and seen many times; this is one of the most critical of times on our planet. Yes, it is true that there have been events from the beginning of time bringing change, chaos and conflict. However, as we move forward into an extremely different kind of life experience; take only the changes in nature, we must realize the severity of the changes in our planet’s life forms whose existence will depend on us HUMANS. So much of what is occurring is new. Oddly called artificial intelligence.

New, somewhat radical philosophies brought to us by the Pluto in Aquarius transit, if understood and accepted, offer a new kind of humanity where justice and equanimity can prevail. Planets moving to Gemini, the communicator and Aquarius the innovator. This being said, these next, at least five years are going to be extreme in their influence on all of what we know regarding life on planet earth. Endings of life forms and beginnings of new. Spreading of information in ways that can create exciting concepts for living well or chaos through misinformation.

Please know I totally get excited when I see any invention or technology geared towards supporting us and the planet for the good and this is what gives me faith in our incredible creative intelligence. It’s just that I believe we can do better. Each one of us. Yes, it takes a village, however, the village is made up of individuals, people, like you and me.

With Saturn and Neptune moving to Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, new creative ideas will be available to bring incredible sophisticated tools for innovation on all levels of society. We need to decide which ones will be for the highest good. I had a vision recently as I watched the news where drones were being used to drop bombs on neighborhoods without consideration of the every day person who might be in the area. It reminded me that we are still killing human beings and destroying homes and neighborhoods and towns and cities all in the name of justice. As I reflected back to the Vikings who manually wheeled in balls of fire they slingshot over the castle wall and charged in to kill what they believed was their enemy; we are doing the same thing today with more sophisticated tools. I would ask what have we learned? Has our intelligence evolved at all? Will there ever be peaceful conflict resolution where devastation is not necessary? Can we break through without breaking down?

Are we ready to embrace a new concept of who we are? Transforming ourselves by letting go of old wounds we are still carrying around from our childhood. For astrological aficionados look to your 12th house. This is where you will find those hidden monsters, fears and enemies our minds created as children. It’s time to heal from the past so we can use all of our energy to move forward with a new more positive and powerful sense of self.
